Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control (-20°F to 45°F) across refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Inspect, load, and unload temperature-sensitive products with strict adherence to HACCP protocols
- Conduct routine sanitation and pest control procedures in compliance with FDA standards
- Document inventory and environmental conditions using digital tracking systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage efficiency and product rotation
- Respond to emergency temperature deviations with corrective action protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or food processing environment
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to food safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
