Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in -20°F to 40°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage handling equipment
- Inspect and document product quality/condition using digital systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA compliance protocols
- Coordinate inventory management with real-time tracking software
- Implement strict safety procedures for hazardous materials handling
- Train new personnel on cold storage best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (valid or ability to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
