Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in -10°F to 40°F storage zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments
- Inspect and document inventory using warehouse management systems
- Sanitize and maintain cold storage equipment per FDA standards
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using proper pallet techniques
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation procedures
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift operator certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
