Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment and inventory control systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in temperature-controlled facilities
- Coordinate loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks with warehouse team
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to warehouse management
- Maintain accurate documentation of temperature logs and product handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient cold chain operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (RF scanning experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California driver's license preferred
