Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold storage environments
- Inspect and record product integrity upon receipt and storage
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Coordinate inventory management using WMS systems
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance
- Train new associates on cold storage procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of temperature monitoring systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Valid California Driver's License
