Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts in cold environments
- Perform inventory counts using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report discrepancies
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and OSHA safety regulations
- Operate automated palletizing systems and conveyor belts
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and RF scanner operation skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Flexible schedule availability including nights/weekends
