Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature zones (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated environments
- Execute inventory rotation (FIFO) and stock rotation protocols
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods upon receipt
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas using food-grade protocols
- Document inventory movements via WMS systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently and work in sub-32°F environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
