Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold storage zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Manage inventory rotation (FIFO) and stock accuracy systems
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks using dock equipment
- Monitor storage conditions and report equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods
- Maintain digital inventory records via WMS software
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
