Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move refrigerated products efficiently
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols (-10°F to 40°F environments)
- Conduct quality inspections and inventory management in cold zones
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety standards
- Collaborate with team on loading/unloading time-sensitive shipments
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas and equipment
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
