Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and shipping processes
- Lead and mentor part-time staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and performance standards
- Optimize workflow efficiency through strategic task delegation and process improvements
- Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and load planning
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance standards across all warehouse activities
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational enhancements to management
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating cross-functional teams
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics preferred
