Responsibilities
- Safely handle, store, and organize perishable goods in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels using digital control systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory efficiently and accurately
- Conduct regular inventory audits using warehouse management software
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and OSHA safety standards for cold storage operations
- Sanitize equipment and work areas to meet food safety compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipment targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
