Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload perishable goods
- Conduct inventory counts and manage stock rotation using FIFO principles
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Inspect and maintain equipment functionality in extreme conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
