Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature zones in -10°F to 40°F storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient inventory movement
- Inspect and document product quality compliance with FSMA standards
- Implement FIFO rotation methods for perishable goods inventory
- Perform sanitation protocols and safety inspections per HACCP guidelines
- Coordinate loading/unloading of refrigerated transport vehicles
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid OSHA-compliant steel-toe footwear (required on day one)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in 30°F environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexibility for rotating shifts including weekends
- Food Handler's Permit preferred
- Forklift certification (PIT) required
