Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trailers and manage inventory in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration monitoring systems following HACCP protocols
- Conduct quality control inspections and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage space and product rotation
- Perform routine sanitation and preventive maintenance on cold storage equipment
- Participate in emergency response drills for power outages or temperature deviations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards
- Availability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
