Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and warehouse equipment safely
- Inspect and document inventory using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for cold environments
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize storage efficiently
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance checks
- Collaborate with team members for seamless shift transitions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (0°F to 32°F)
- Valid forklift certification or ability to pass training
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
