Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature control and humidity levels in refrigerated storage units
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect products for quality compliance and packaging integrity
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and maintain organized inventory
- Follow strict HACCP and OSHA protocols for cold environments
- Complete inventory tracking using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient distribution
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
