Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in -10°F to 40°F storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect products for quality compliance and document inventory using RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA protocols for safe material handling in subzero conditions
- Coordinate with trucking teams for timely loading/unloading of refrigerated trailers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all storage areas
- Participate in monthly inventory audits and cycle counting procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in refrigerated warehouse or cold storage environment
- Valid forklift certification and ability to pass respiratory fit test
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in subzero temperatures for 8+ hours
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of FIFO inventory methods
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical examination
