Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage zones
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to organize and rotate inventory
- Inspect and document equipment functionality and facility conditions
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Coordinate inventory management and stock rotation systems
- Collaborate with quality control teams on compliance checks
- Implement emergency procedures for temperature deviations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging 0°F to 40°F
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
