Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and organize inventory in cold storage units following FIFO protocols
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in compliance with FDA guidelines
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks using proper loading techniques
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Document inventory movements using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable transportation to early morning/late-night shifts
- Team player with proactive problem-solving abilities
