Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated storage areas
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory counts and stock rotation FIFO systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP standards)
- Operate and clean refrigeration equipment daily
- Complete quality control checks on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Maintain accurate documentation of storage activities
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 0-40°F (-18-4°C) environments
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Previous warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexible schedule availability (including nights/weekends)
- Pass pre-employment background check
