Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity in storage zones
- Perform inventory counts and cycle checks with RF scanners
- Maintain strict FIFO rotation of perishable goods
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety protocols
- Operate automated storage retrieval systems (AS/RS)
- Sanitize equipment and facility per FDA guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Flexibility to work in 40°F-0°F environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screen
