Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize products in -10°C to 4°C zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring equipment
- Conduct quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Participate in monthly safety drills and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in 34°F environment for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand 8+ hours
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (company-sponsored)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays during peak seasons
