Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in confined cold storage environments
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and cycle counting procedures
- Adhere to HACCP and USDA food safety standards
- Document storage conditions using digital monitoring systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks
- Train on new safety protocols and technology upgrades
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience required
- OSHA 10-Hour certification preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in sub-zero conditions
- Strong attention to detail in inventory management
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures (40°F to -10°F)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
