Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient product movement
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain real-time inventory accuracy
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for perishable goods
- Coordinate with remote team members via digital tracking systems
- Prepare shipments with temperature-controlled packaging materials
- Document storage conditions and equipment performance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- OSHA 10-hour general industry certification preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with proper techniques
