Responsibilities
- Handle, sort, and store perishable goods in temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment following strict safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Maintain strict sanitation standards in accordance with FDA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
- Conduct quality checks on incoming/outgoing products
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP compliance standards
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (company-provided)
