Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload temperature-controlled shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate inventory records in cold storage facilities (-10°F to 35°F)
- Operate warehouse equipment following OSHA and HACCP guidelines
- Conduct quality control checks on perishable goods
- Sanitize equipment and workspaces per food safety protocols
- Coordinate with truck drivers for efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Monitor cold storage equipment performance and report malfunctions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
