Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature and humidity controls in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products efficiently
- Conduct quality inspections and inventory audits using WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage facilities
- Coordinate loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks with precision timing
- Document inventory movements and maintain accurate digital records
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
- Train new associates on cold storage best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass certification test)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- Strong attention to detail in temperature monitoring
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
