Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero temperatures to move refrigerated products
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in cold environments
- Inspect and prepare pallets for proper storage and transport conditions
- Monitor temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Perform sanitation duties to meet food safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in -10°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
