Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to efficiently move refrigerated products within -10°F warehouse environment
- Perform inventory audits using RF scanners to maintain 99.9% accuracy in temperature-controlled zones
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment including racking systems and refrigeration units
- Adhere to HACCP safety protocols when handling perishable goods and frozen products
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks while maintaining strict temperature control procedures
- Monitor warehouse environmental systems and report temperature deviations immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cold storage workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and order picking
- Strong attention to detail in extreme climate conditions
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours in refrigerated environment
