Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) across refrigerated storage units
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts in temperature-controlled environments
- Inspect and organize inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols during handling procedures
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment and facility systems
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company certification program)
- Ability to work in environments ranging from -10°F to 40°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
