Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate stock rotation records
- Operate and clean refrigeration equipment following safety protocols
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- Valid Louisiana driver's license preferred
