Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Safely load/unload temperature-controlled trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods and report discrepancies
- Operate warehouse equipment (RF scanners, pallet jacks) with precision
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols strictly
- Manage inventory rotation (FIFO) and stock rotation systems
- Document storage activities using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in -10°F to 40°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Valid Ohio driver's license
