Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect, sort, and store perishable products according to FDA guidelines
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Perform sanitation protocols including deep cleaning of equipment and storage areas
- Monitor temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Adhere to OSHA and GMP safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Food Handler's certification preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
