Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move food products and packaging materials
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and WMS software with 99.5% accuracy
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA protocols for food safety and workplace safety
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas using food-grade cleaning agents
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Complete daily inspection logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
