Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts in cold environments
- Inspect product quality and report any temperature deviations or inventory discrepancies
- Follow strict sanitation protocols and maintain organized, hazard-free workspaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Complete inventory documentation using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekends
