Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in -20°F to 45°F storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in temperature-controlled environments
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and cycle counting procedures
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas using food-grade cleaning protocols
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance records
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient outbound shipments
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards for cold storage operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-Hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently and work in sub-zero temperatures
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
- Flexible schedule including early mornings/weekends
