Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily inventory counts and stock rotation using FIFO methods
- Operate and sanitize cold storage equipment and packaging machinery
- Adhere to HACCP safety protocols and food handling standards
- Document temperature logs and equipment maintenance records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain training)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
