Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and temperature monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trailers and maintain proper FIFO inventory rotation
- Monitor and document storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) to ensure product integrity
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance in compliance with HACCP standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage efficiency and order fulfillment
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report safety hazards immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to 40°F) for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Valid state driver's license preferred
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience a plus
- OSHA 10-hour certification (provided upon hire)
