Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment per OSHA standards
- Inspect goods for quality compliance and report irregularities immediately
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols including daily sanitization of equipment
- Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in cold environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Valid Michigan driver's license required
