Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in warehouse racking systems
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet daily targets
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety best practices
- Assist in loading/unloading shipments and verifying documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience with valid certification (OSHA/Forklift License)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with RF scanners and basic warehouse management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime as needed
