Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory audits using RF scanners
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS)
- Prepare outbound shipments with temperature monitoring devices
- Participate in monthly sanitation and pest control procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Willingness to work in cold environments (4-8 hour shifts)
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
- Forklift certification a plus (training provided)
- Background check and drug screening required
- Reliable transportation to North Dallas facility
