Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment following safety protocols
- Inspect and document product integrity during receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation and sanitation procedures for food safety compliance
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Complete electronic inventory logs and quality control documentation
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in 32°F to -10°F environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
