Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in sub-zero environments (-10°F to 30°F)
- Verify product temperatures and document inventory in warehouse management systems
- Pack, label, and organize frozen/refrigerated goods with precision
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold storage facilities
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and safety inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and cycle counts in ERP systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Valid forklift certification (training available)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper techniques
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
