Responsibilities
- Unload and refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts in sub-zero temperatures
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality compliance and temperature integrity
- Organize inventory in cryogenic storage zones using FIFO protocols
- Maintain accurate digital inventory records via warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for cold environments
- Operate temperature monitoring equipment and report deviations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficient with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to complete training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate material handling equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
