Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Conduct inventory counts and manage stock rotation (FIFO) protocols
- Follow HACCP guidelines and food safety procedures strictly
- Document temperature logs and warehouse operations accurately
- Collaborate with team to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 40°F
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours in cold environments
- Valid California driver's license (if operating company vehicles)
