Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring equipment
- Perform accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and document product quality upon receipt and dispatch
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and FDA safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and environmental irregularities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (training provided if needed)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail in temperature-sensitive environments
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
