Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments
- Maintain precise inventory control using digital tracking systems and barcode scanners
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety protocols (HACCP) and temperature regulations
- Inspect and maintain facility equipment to prevent spoilage and ensure operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading of temperature-sensitive goods
- Document warehouse activities and maintain accurate records in our digital management system
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in environments as low as -10°F (-23°C) for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain through company training
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
