Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and tracking systems for refrigerated/frozen products
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment in cold environments
- Inspect, sort, and package temperature-sensitive goods according to HACCP standards
- Monitor storage conditions and report equipment malfunctions or temperature deviations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety protocols for cold storage environments
- Perform routine sanitation and hygiene procedures in refrigerated zones
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to safely lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods in 40°F/-10°F environments
- Forklift certification or ability to complete company training program
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
