Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload shipments and organize inventory
- Inspect products for quality compliance and document storage conditions
- Adhere to safety protocols for cold environment operations and equipment handling
- Collaborate with logistics team for accurate inventory tracking and order fulfillment
- Complete digital inventory reports using remote-friendly software systems
- Participate in quarterly safety training and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Reliable transportation to Fort Wayne facility
