Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Optimize warehouse inventory accuracy through systematic receiving, stocking, and cycle counting
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics operations including shipping/receiving documentation
- Maintain clean, organized work environments meeting 5S safety protocols
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
- Train junior staff on material handling best practices and equipment operation
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/material handling experience in high-volume environments
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent required
